sector, public sector and NGO organizations. Private sector
clients have come from a wide range of industries –
for example United Biscuits plc (FMCG), Canada Life plc
(Insurance), Hoerbiger A/S (Industrial Pumps), Acergy A/S
(Offshore Engineering), and Saudi Aramco (Oil). In the public
sector, 2GC has worked for central Government departments
and Agencies in Australia and the UK (e.g. Environment Agency
(UK), MOD (UK), Australian National Audit Office, Australian
Taxation Office); local Government entities in the UK (e.g.
various UK Local Authorities and associated agencies); and
NGOs (e.g. World Food Programme, WorldVision US, and European
Union aided work for Jordanian Government).

performance management consultancies, having been engaged
by clients from 34 countries spread across four continents,
and facilitated the design and implementation of well over
100 Balanced Scorecard designs. 2GC has professional staff
in the UK, Norway, France, Central Europe, the Middle East
and Asia. 2GC has delivered directly projects in English,
Norwegian, Danish, and French. Through interpreters, 2GC
has successfully delivered projects in both Arabic, and
Chinese.
2GC was founded (in April 1999) and is lead by Gavin Lawrie,
a classically trained strategic management consultant and
an internationally recognised expert on the design and implementation
of strategic Corporate Performance Management systems. As
a leading member of the International Balanced Scorecard
Practice of Renaissance Worldwide during the 1990s, Gavin
worked on the development of Balanced Scorecards with both
David Norton and Robert Kaplan (creators of the Balanced
Scorecard concept). Gavin holds an MBA degree from London
Business School, and a B.Eng Degree from the University
of London. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of
Marketing, and the Strategic Planning Society. Gavin has
spoken widely at conferences and seminars on issues surrounding
the development and implementation of Balanced Scorecards.
