AEA Technology

AEA Technology plc – www.aeat.co.uk - is one of Europe's leading environmental consultancy and technology companies, with a strong focus on Environment, Rail and Nuclear industries. PSC completed a series of five assignments with AEAT over a two-year period. The first was a critical review of AEAT’s Hyprotech Engineering Software business’ major account sales and account management process, which resulted in recommendations to the Business MD and the Group COO. The second was an activity to support the planning of and then baseline their ‘ReNew Program’ (cost reduction/business process). The third was an in-depth Risk Assessment & Mitigation for a capital project for the Nuclear Business. The fourth was a level-of-effort task to facilitate the ‘improvement/simplification’ of their Corporate Project Management Practice.

In PSC’s fifth assignment with AEA Technology, we worked closely with the MD of the Nuclear Business and the Group COO to define and implement a ‘New Management Framework’ for the Nuclear Business, which we fast-tracked and completed with three months. This assignment included the application of Project, Performance and Risk Management methodologies, and significantly changed – and improved - all levels of information reporting from the Project, to the Management Team, and up to the Board level.
